Plagiarism and Originality Policy

INTEGRATED upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism and academic misconduct.

Originality Requirement

All submitted manuscripts must be entirely original works. We require a minimum originality rate of 80%, meaning the similarity index must not exceed 20% (excluding bibliography and direct quotes). Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior.

Screening Process

Upon submission, the Editorial Team will rigorously screen the manuscript using industry-standard similarity detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before it is forwarded to the peer review process.

Author Responsibility

Authors are highly encouraged to perform their own similarity checks prior to submission. All quotations, borrowed concepts, and references must be properly cited according to the journal's designated citation style. If authors have used the work of others, it must be appropriately acknowledged.

Consequences of Plagiarism

Manuscripts that exceed the similarity threshold will be immediately returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity of the duplicated content. If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the journal reserves the right to formally retract the article and notify the authors' affiliated institutions.
