Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy

All articles submitted to INTEGRATED (Journal of Information Technology and Vocational Education) must be entirely original and free from any form of plagiarism. To uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity, every submitted manuscript undergoes mandatory plagiarism screening using Turnitin software prior to the peer-review process.

Plagiarism is strictly defined as the unauthorized or unacknowledged use of another individual's work, ideas, methodology, text, or data without proper credit, attribution, or citation. This includes direct copying, insufficient paraphrasing, and self-plagiarism (text-recycling) without proper referencing. Authors must ensure that any borrowed content, concepts, or figures strictly follow standard academic attribution guidelines.

INTEGRATED maintains a strict tolerance threshold for similarity (typically requiring a similarity index below 20%). Submissions exceeding this threshold or demonstrating clear evidence of deliberate plagiarism will be immediately rejected. This policy reinforces the journal’s commitment to maintaining research integrity and promoting ethical publication practices.
