Publication Ethics and Policy
Publication Ethics and Policy
INTEGRATED (Journal of Information Technology and Vocational Education) is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards of scientific publication. Our editorial policies are closely aligned with the core practices and guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Manuscripts are rigorously evaluated based on their originality, significance, clarity of writing, and alignment with the journal's focus and scope.
Editorial and Peer-Review Process
INTEGRATED employs a strict double-blind peer-review system to ensure unbiased and objective evaluation. The identity of both the authors and the reviewers are kept strictly confidential during the process. Our standard editorial workflow proceeds as follows:
- Article Submission & Acknowledgement: Receipt of the manuscript is confirmed via the OJS system.
- Initial Evaluation: The editorial board screens the manuscript for scope, basic quality, language proficiency, and plagiarism.
- Reviewer Allocation: The manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers based on their field of expertise.
- Reviewing Process: Reviewers assess the manuscript's academic merit and provide constructive feedback.
- Revision & Resubmission: Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewer and editor comments.
- Final Processing: Copyediting, layout formatting, and proofreading of the accepted manuscript.
- Publication: The article is published in the designated issue.
Code of Conduct for Authors
- Authors must strictly follow the updated Author Guidelines and use the official journal template provided on this website.
- Language Requirement: Starting from Volume 8, Issue 1 (2026), all submitted manuscripts must be written entirely in standard academic English.
- The submitted manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- While INTEGRATED conducts strict plagiarism checks using similarity detection software, authors are primarily responsible for ensuring the absolute originality of their work and adherence to correct citation practices.
- Securing copyright permissions for the use of third-party materials (such as images, figures, or extensive data) is the sole responsibility of the author.
- To facilitate the double-blind review, authors must ensure that their identities and affiliations are completely removed from the main manuscript file.
