Metodik Didaktik is a peer-reviewed, professional scientific national journal in the field of Primary Education. Metodik Didaktik, which focuses on the theoretical issues and pedagogical practices in primary education, was published by Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Purwakarta Campus. This journal is published twice in a year: January and July. Starting from April 2025, the journal will only accept English-written articles. Starting from the upcoming issue, Metodik Didaktik will prioritize the publication of articles resulting from international collaborations as part of our commitment to enhancing the quality and global reach of scientific publications.
This journal accepts manuscripts covering all aspects of Primary Education, including articles reporting original research and best practices, discussing local, national, and international policies and initiatives, as well as offering comparative perspectives on research and policy through research projects. Topics may include, but are not limited to, elementary school teaching, instructional strategies, material development, and teaching competencies required by pre-service and in-service teachers. The journal also encourages contributions in areas such as:
